Mürekkep: Fırça Kadran

A painting on your wrist: Mürekkep (Turkish for "ink") turns the hour into art — not information, but a single calligraphic brush stroke drawn in one breath. Every numeral (1–12) is hand-drawn original artwork, never a font: an angled entry press, a heavy body, dry bristles splitting into three at the tip, and wet-ink shadows.

BRUSH NUMERAL, REAL INK
The large brush numeral at the center of the face comes from no typeface; it is a separate art object drawn for each hour. Dry-brush tears, spatter droplets and ink-density shadows give the feel of a real stroke pulled across paper. The visual hierarchy is clear: numeral first, then seal, then data.

THE RED SEAL
At the lower left sits a red seal with the hand-carved feel of a calligrapher's signature — the single accent of color on the face. You choose the live value engraved into it: with the "Seal content" setting, battery percentage or date.

FOUR THEMES
• Night Ink — silver ink on a deep navy-black ground (default)
• Paper — black ink on a light paper ground, a gallery classic
• Jade — a jade-green sumi-e reading
• Gold — a gold-leaf calligraphy aesthetic
The "Theme" setting changes not just color but the entire pixel artwork; each theme is re-rendered with its own ink texture. In battery-friendly Always-On Display (AOD) mode every theme stays dark and readable.

INK BLOOM
With "Animations" on, each new minute numeral blooms softly, as if ink soaking into paper — restrained, a single 1.4-second breath. Turn it off and the face returns to its static, elegant twin; nothing goes missing.
